Scott Mathews

Scott Mathews is a multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter from the Northeast. In 2020, after years of playing in bands with some of Delaware’s best musicians, he began focusing on his own songwriting voice.

In the summer of 2024, Scott began working in the studio with local producer and recording artist Ritchie Rubini (The Caulfields) to work on his debut solo record, “Based on a True Story.” The album contains rich Americana sounds and lyrical imagery to pull you in from the first chord.

Since the end of 2023, Scott has been performing marathon sets around Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Southern New Jersey, with a more extensive tour on the horizon.

With the wind on his back and the sun on his face, he looks to continue spreading the word and making good folk for the Good Folk of the world.
